In this gathering, Flavia Franco of Southern Oregon Food Solutions will give an overview of the environmental impacts of our food system, and of local actions being taken by the Community Compost Coalition in Rogue Valley to advance sustainability.

Rogue Food Unites! No Cost Farmers Markets
Did you know that Rogue Food Unites holds weekly NO COST farmers markets for neighbors who who generally don’t have ready access to fresh, organic food, and includes a goal to build community in the process. Attendees will find barrier-free, no-cost fresh, regional, organic produce, organic eggs and natural meats three times a week, in four different location sites consistent in Southern Oregon. Learn about volunteering to support these markets.
